Patscher Schneid is 3082 meter high peak in the Rieserferner Group. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Barmer Hütte, located 1.2km southeast. Furtalm is a bit further away. 3 km north-northeast of the peak there is lake Sankt-Josef-See. 0.7 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Lenksteinferner - Vedretta di Sasso Lungo, 1.9 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Hochgall Ferner - Vedretta di Collalto.
