Westlicher Rosshuf is 3143 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.4 km west of peak Hoher Rosshuf near the border with Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Birnlückenhütte - Rifugio Brigata Tridentina, located 2km north. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 7 km west-northwest of the peak there is lake Eissee. Northwest from the summit there is glacier Westliches Kerrakees, 0.4 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Windtalkees. The peak is located south of the valley Krimmler Achental.
