Description:
Sauspitzl is 2883 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.4 km south-southwest of peak Gamstod (Hohe Warte). The nearest mountain hut is Kleine-Philipp-Reuter-Hütte, located 2km south-southeast. bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte is a bit further away. 7 km northwest of the peak there is lake Eissee. 0.6 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Westliches Kerrakees, 0.7 km east from the summit there is also glacier Windtalkees. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Schwarzachtal.
