Äußere Hohe Warte is 2614 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.7 km west of peak Sauspitzl. The nearest mountain hut is Lenkjöchlhütte - Rifugio Giogo Lungo, located 2km south-southeast. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 5 km northwest of the peak there is lake Eissee. 2 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Östliches Kerrakees, 3 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Äußeres Lahner Kees - Vedretta di Lana. The peak is located north of the valley Schwarzachtal.
