Description:
Edelweißknopf (Kaserspitz) is 2768 meter high peak and is part of the Villgraten Mountains. The peak is located 3 km east of peak Rote Wand. The nearest mountain hut is Barmer Hütte, located 7km north-northwest. A little further is bivouac Schießstand Jagdverein St. Jakob. 8 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Hochgall Ferner - Vedretta di Collalto, 8 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Lenksteinferner - Vedretta di Sasso Lungo. Northwest of the summit is the valley Antholzer Tal - Valle di Anterselva.
