Innsbruck is the capital of North Tyrol and the Austrian federal state of Tyrol. Located at 574 m a.s.l. with 126,851 inhabitants, it is the fifth largest city in Austria. It is crossed by the Inn River; its name derives from Inn and bridge and means Bridge over the Inn.
