Sirmione, famous since antiquity for its generous thermal waters, stretches along a slender peninsula that juts into Lake Garda for about 4 km.
It is one of the most enchanting places on the lake, from which one enjoys the splendid panorama of both shores: already in Roman times villas rose there, including that of the poet Catullus, who sang the beauty of these places in his verses. Nature and history: from the Scaliger Castle to the archaeological area at the end of the peninsula, Sirmione holds incomparable artistic and historical treasures.
