Massa Martana is an ancient medieval village, returned to its former splendor thanks to restoration works carried out after the 1997 earthquake; in about ten years Massa Martana closed that dramatic chapter and recovered everything needed to restore dignity to the ancient Roman-origin village, born as a stopover station on the Via Flaminia.
