Organized by the 'Venerabile Confraternita di Santa Croce della Foce'. It is a symbolic representation of the Passion of Christ that has been repeated for centuries according to a tradition that has never known interruptions. The procession is opened by brothers dressed in sackcloth who play the 'battistrangole' (instruments that produce a rattling sound) and others who carry the skull symbolizing Golgotha and the symbols of the Passion.
