Ripatransone, village of 4,400 inhabitants in the province of Ascoli Piceno in the Marche.
The main town, located on a high hill (494 m a.s.l.) a short distance from the sea (12.5 km), is among the oldest centers of the province, in which it also has one of the largest municipal territories (74.16 km²).
