Description: Recording of our tourist and exploratory road trip through traditional and non-traditional corners of the oldest state on the Arabian Peninsula, Oman, from March this year. Or from -5°C to +40°C in a 6-hour flight. From the capital Muscat, through the mountains to the desert and from the canyon to the highest mountain Jabel Shams 3009 m a.s.l. With stops in villages and towns, in mosques and fortresses, at fish markets and markets with gold and spices, in local restaurants, on beaches, in caves and oases. We saw the carrying of turtle eggs on the beach, a flush toilet in the middle of the desert, and the chaos associated with thousands of Muslims leaving the mosque after Friday prayers. And much more. We covered 1500 km by car, 150 km on foot with the sun on our backs (and in our eyes) and even without the prospect of a chilled beer at the end of the day. Because you can't buy alcohol in Oman, no matter how hard you try :-)
