Description:
We set out for a day on the winter hills—a chance to teach my son essential winter mountaineering skills. Crampons, ice axe, decision-making… the lessons you can’t learn indoors.
But when we reached the summit, the day took an unexpected turn. The hillside was covered in litter—plastic, packaging, and waste left behind by a group who clearly had no respect for the mountains.
