Description:
Ascent from the Izpegi pass on the border between France and Navarre. Through a beech forest one reaches the Nekaitz col and then Elorrieta. A steep path through forest passes near the Harrigorri promontory and only the hard final slope remains to reach the broad summit. Due to its isolation, Auza offers fantastic views over the surrounding mountains.
