Description:
One of the most beautiful and rugged ascents that can be done in Aralar, with sensations close to being in the Pyrenees.
We start from the upper part of Gaintza, following a concrete track that draws a wide curve towards some shepherds' huts and a chalet a bit higher up. At 500 meters we reach a fork that allows us to go either to Balerdi on the right, or to Aldaon or Irumugarrieta on the left. We take this left branch.
