Description:
Ascent from the Saldropo wetland, passing the curious Atxuri cornice and exiting to the Arimekorta plateau at the foot of Aldamin. A path skirts the rugged crest to the left and leads to the collado de Aldamiñospe. Only the final slope remains to the rounded Gorbeia summit, famous for its gigantic 18-meter-high cross (formerly 33).
