Mighty mountain in the western Julians. Montaž is the second highest peak in the Julian Alps, after Triglav (2864 m).
Ascent from Planina Pecol via Pipan ladder to the summit. Descent via Špik Hude Police (2420 m) back to Planina Pecol.
