Description:
Once again I visited Olympus following however a different, not so popular route, the ascent from the Barbala ridge on the northern side of the mountain. The activity took place with the Corinth Mountaineering Club on July 10, 2022. We started the hike from the Krevatia refuge and ended at the Muses Plateau and the Josos Apostolidis refuge. The route is long and demanding but at the same time beautiful as it includes a forested path, ridge line or ridge and alpine landscape with rocky and steep slopes.
