It is located at 2,610 m, above a ridge on the northern slopes of Punta La Cuna (Konzenspitze); surrounded by steep 3,000 m peaks, Rifugio Martello overlooks Val Martello from the Ortles-Cevedale Group. Rifugio Martello is an ideal starting point for hikes and alpine tours. In winter and spring, numerous ski mountaineering routes lead to the discovery of the surrounding mountains.
