For this hike, we really had to get up early. From the Erichhütte parking lot, we set off towards the mountain around 5 a.m. The route was well marked, so it would have been hard to get lost even in the dark. By the time we reached the via ferrata starting point, the sun had risen. There was no issue with the heat then, let alone later while scrambling on the rocks. Before noon, the sky became heavily overcast, so the last few hours to the hut were less enjoyable.
