Description:
Ascent from Villanúa along a very well-marked route with green and yellow markers leading to Fuente del Paco spring and then to Refugio de Espata hut in the Cubilar of the same name.

From there, continue along a path through the ravine in front and before reaching the base of Punta de la Espata, turn right and via steep grassy slopes reach Collado de Bacún, marked on some maps as Collado de Espata.
