Description:
The Hochwilde from Pfelders is a crisp day tour with over 1800m elevation gain and 25 km distance. The first part of the tour can even be sweetened with a bike. Mountain bikers carry their bikes partially to the Stettiner Hütte to descend from there. I've been told there's a medium difficulty descent from there. We walked the entire route on foot and thus filled the day.
