Description:
Monte RUVI, imposing mountain 2922 m, little frequented due to its length and about 2000 m elevation gain, but precisely to discover unexplored valleys and peaks, the group composed of Carlo, Enzo, Corrado and Alessandro set off from Verthuy 1050 m, initially following S1 and then S3, crossing a large scree basin and up a steep slope to reach Col Giron 2630 m in 2h50. From the pass, deviating left to the north side of Ruvi, climbing among some cairns and jumps over large stones, overcoming three towers before reaching the well-deserved summit in 3h50 excluding stops. Return on the same route with variant to Valmeriana huts.
