On the first, we set out from the Soques cabin, near the Portalet border crossing. We climb to the Arrious col and from there, through the vertiginous Orteig Passage, we reach the Arremoulit refuge, small and uncomfortable, on the shores of the lake of the same name, at the foot of Pico Arriel.
