First Sunday of the year, little snow and spring conditions. While waiting for the snow to return, better to do a nice hike and a nice flight. We meet many people on Sunday morning in Trasaghis to hike up to Monte Cuar, the most panoramic peak of the Friulian Prealps. The view from the summit is wonderful, aided by the strong thermal inversion that relegates the Friulian plain to a thick blanket of fog. Unexpectedly mild temperatures at altitude give us a splendid flight. Indeed, 'We won again'
