Description:
We arrive at Gavarnie, where we follow the ascending and winding road that after about 10 km. leaves us at Col de Tentes, where we park the car.

We start walking along the road that continues to Puerto de Bujaruelo, with Valle de Pouey Aspé to the left, where on the other side we can observe Col de Sarradets, with the slender figure of Torre de Marboré appearing behind it. Further on, a signpost points to the left the path to the Sarradets refuge, while to the right it points to the one descending on the Spanish side to the Boucharo refuge (for the French) or Bujaruelo. Obviously we take the left path.
