Description:
Continuation of the UNESCO Route. After descending from the summit of Alestschhorn, we headed to Mönch hut to attempt the ascent of the mythical Jungfrau. Bad weather forced our retreat after reaching the upper col, before the delicate horizontal traverse. The next day dawned fantastic and due to the snow fallen the previous day, only two rope teams reached the summit.
