Description:
The ruins of the former 12th-century castle perch on a rock directly above Losenstein and the Enns. The remaining parts are very well renovated, rebuilt, and maintained. Numerous seating areas invite lingering at this historic site. Gothic window openings, arrow slits, and large gate arches are still clearly visible on the remaining building parts. From the castle ruins, there is a beautiful view of the town, Ennstal, and the surrounding mountains. A visit is worthwhile.
