Many generations have passed under the wings of the Salewa eagle, and today, looking back, we proudly see a piece of mountaineering history to which we believe we have contributed. In three quarters of a century we have met all generations of modern mountaineering, and today more than ever we feel the youthful enthusiasm of the early years. We have blown out 75 candles, a great milestone reached thanks to people who, over all these years, have put their soul into their work. It has always been like this, from the beginning: men and women, and above all their ideas, which today seem ageless. And at the anniversary celebrations, we asked ourselves 'How old is Salewa?', without finding an answer. It's a matter of heart, not of birth certificate.
