Description:
The 'Laška Planja' is a splendid slope on the southwest side of the Canin Chain. It looks like a real 700 m drop ski piste suspended over the beautiful Val Resia. Initial slopes are not excessive but increase towards the ridge. In spring conditions it's a fantastic ski run. On a splendid early April Saturday, twelve ski-alpinists waited at the top almost 2 hours for snow to soften for the descent, and it was truly worth it. Enjoying with me: Silvia, Lidia, Andrea, Fac and Plaz (alias camminofriuli) plus other friends who reached the top.
