Description:
On the border between Vorarlberg and Tyrol lies the Verwall. A rugged mountain range with several striking peaks beyond the 3000-meter mark. During our 8-day hut-to-hut tour, we traverse this lonely and impressive mountain world located in the central Eastern Alps. On partly quite demanding high-altitude trails, we hike from hut to hut and climb some peaks, including of course the highest mountain in the Verwall, the Hoher Riffler.
