Description:
Lisa Kestel visits Potsdam, the capital of the state of Brandenburg. Potsdam is just a stone's throw (or a train ride of about 25 minutes) from Berlin and is often called the "City of Contrasts": opulent palaces and buildings – the legacy of the former residence of the Kings of Prussia – alternate with numerous green spaces and lakes. Since 1990, the city has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage, more precisely, it is Germany's largest coherent World Heritage site.
