A hike into the legendary Steinmühlental near Rothesütte in the Südharz.
The hike leads from Rothesütte downhill first into Helltal and then further into Steinmühlental with the legendary Goldborn or Goldbrunnen. In the valley, it's worth lingering longer to closely examine the rock needles and rock towers, because if you look closely, you'll see amazing things. The return path first went up a mountain and then across Helltal on a slightly different route back to Rothesütte.
