Description:
Alone I set off to the Dreiländerspitze. From the Silvretta Reservoir at 5:30. First stage goal is the Wiesbadenerhütte at 2443m - where I get my 'good morning' coffee. Then on to the Obere Ochsenschart and to the open Vermuntgletscher, which is very doable alone. Then I meet one or the other rope team on the way. At the unmarked entry, I took the wrong ascent and instead of II degree climbing it turns into IV- right away. Things can change that fast....While considering whether to descend with the next one to take the right path, I meet a nice mountain comrade who climbs to the summit with me again and even helps with the filming. Otherwise I would have descended, because I wouldn't have gotten down the climbing spot I climbed wrong. The summit ascent is challenging too!!! A very airy, exposed adventure....but the summit has been on my to-do list for a long time!
