We enter Aconcagua Provincial Park. Before us, the spectacular south face of Aconcagua. We cross a curious hanging bridge built as a set for the movie 'Seven Years in Tibet'. We ascend gently and in three hours reach Confluencia camp. Impressive Cerro Almacén with all its strata visible. At sunset, the neighboring mountains take on fantastic hues.
