A great mountain bike loop to Aflenzer Bürgeralm and further to Schönleitenhaus 1810 m. Earn the uphill with your own muscle power over the super built panorama road to Aflenzer Bürgeralm and another 2.5 km/250 Hm steeper gravel road to Schönleitenhaus. Rewarded with a great panorama into Hochschwab and deep view to Bürgeralm and into Aflenzer Becken. Unfortunately no space for us in the hut and too cold at this time to linger on the terrace. We were very excited and full of anticipation for the bike trails! The first trail took us on awesome flow trails 2 km/300 Hm over Windgrube to Almboden der Bürgeralm – pure enjoyment! After short uphill to Gretlhöhe, enter the AB Aflenzer Bürgeralm Trail. This was already a challenge for us with red/black - red sections super flowy - black ones a bit too direct and slippery so some sections on foot - but big compliment to the trail builders! as it was mainly built by hand. After 4 km/500 Hm we reach Pierergut and the last trail Pierergut-Trail again a super flowy blue/red enjoyment trail. Curve after curve we surf to 950 m/150 Hm to the outdoor pool. A dream tour with everything our MTB heart desires! THANKS again to the trail builders and those responsible for releasing these routes.
