Ahornspitze is one of the most famous mountains in the famous Ziller Valley, named so because the Ziller River runs through it...hence its name. Right in the Austrian Tyrol, this valley has beautiful and interesting mountains, one of them being Ahornspitze. With almost 3000 meters altitude; 2973 to be exact; this mountain offers routes that every adventure sports lover will appreciate. In my case, I chose a demanding route since it's a fast climb or quick ascent. I chose a track of just 5km but with more than 1100m+. If we add the technicality of the terrain becoming dangerous in some points, then fun is guaranteed. For dessert, we did a descent at full speed....scares, laughs and joy in abundance.
