Hello dear hikers and nature friends,
on the 2nd hiking day of my autumn tour on the Albsteig, a small challenge awaits me. The weather forecast reports storm gusts with speeds up to 95 km/h for the ridges of the Alb in the afternoon. Since the risk of injury from falling branches in the forest is too great for me, I decide to hike the stage briskly to reach my accommodation at Stahlecker Hof as early as possible by 3 p.m.
