In this video, you learn more about our mountain hike to the 1,679 m high Besler in the Allgäu Alps. We start our tour at Riedbergpass at the bus stop "Wannenkopfhütte". After Herzberg Alpe, we head towards the hunting huts and follow the pre-trodden paths up to the Königsweg. After a wonderful view, we turn our gaze back to today's summit goal, the Besler. The via ferrata is in the north and accordingly there is still quite a bit of snow or ice in the via ferrata. We try it with spikes and crampons and make good progress. Stay tuned for the via ferrata section and the view from above.
