From Trieben 700m asl I climb past Haberlhube and Kreuzberg first to the upper part of Lorenzergraben, from there steeply partly pathless to the east ridge and on it to Almspitz 2187m asl.
- scree, water-destroyed forest paths, deep view of flood traces in Paltental, cleanup work in St. Lorenzen, chanterelles and porcini along the way, cows on the alm, the sparkling Green Lake, surrounding mountains and as so often at Almspitz the encounter with the golden eagle - filmed in good weather from 7:30 to 19:30 -
