The morning after our traverse of the Watzmann East Face begins for us at the Watzmannhaus with a sporadic breakfast -- we overslept. On the hut terrace, the sun is already shining again and it's very warm once more. Shortly afterwards, we head back down to the valley to the Königssee, where we meet Erik and will dynamically adjust the further tour program to the weather development. We use the local Schachtelwirt for a rather atypical but highly welcome mountaineer's meal and look forward to the coming days despite sore muscles.
