Ascent of Europe's highest peak accessible without technical equipment. An outing among 'buddies'. It's 2 days of hiking. Day 1: bottom of Tourtemagne valley to Tourtemagne cabin (various routes possible) 2,000 m ascent for 26 km. Blue and white path, T2 to T3 level. Impression of absolute high mountain and fabulous summit view. Snow remnants possible late in the season.
