Altissimo from Brentonico MTB

Easiest variant to Mt Altissimo starting in Brentonico. Still 1,500 UH-m/39 km.
The road from Brentonico to P. S. Valentino and further through romantic rocky terrain to Rif. Graziani, which naturally invites for cozy stops. From here it's 4 km/420 UH-m to fight with own muscle power, only a few steeper ramps I pushed this time, super conditions! Meanwhile the weather turned to threatening thunderstorm cells all around - heavy thunderstorm already raging on Carega and Lessini plateau. At the summit of Mt Altissimo a massive thunderstorm cell approached from Tremalzo too, so we opted for the same downhill back - instead of planned DH over Sentiero 622/650 - which are actually our favorite trails. But we enjoy the punchy DH to Rif. Graziani where we fought up before. We choose the nice flowy trail variant to Malga Bes and continue DH on the road - with a short off-road variant at S. Giacomo - back. Always a fantastic mountain Mt Altissimo - no matter from which side. Also on this ascent from Rif. Graziani one is impressed by fantastic lake views!
