Today we take you on one of the most spectacular photographic hikes in the Dolomites under the Catinaccio Group. We start from Campitello di Fassa and by bus reach Vigo di Fassa where we take the Catinaccio cable car to Ciampedie. From here passing the namesake rifugio we follow trail 540 which passes by rifugio Gardeccia and leads to rifugio Vajolet and Preus. We continue on trail 584 to rifugio Passo Principe 2600 m. and climb towards Passo di Antermoia 2770 m. which is the highest point of the hike. We now descend and reach the wonderful Lago di Antermoia and the namesake rifugio. We leave the lake and climbing a slight rise we pass Passo di Dona 2516 m. descend towards Passo delle Ciaregole 2262 m. and continuing on trail 578 we reach Val Duron from where on a comfortable track we reach rifugio Micheluzzi, from here with shuttle taxis we return to Campitello di Fassa.
