Description:
The Königsstein of the Teufelsmauer between Neinstedt and Weddersleben is one of the most beautiful and bizarre spots of the uplifted sandstone ridge in the immediate Harz foreland. Parts of the Teufelsmauer were already placed under protection in 1833. Thus, the area counts among the oldest nature conservation areas in Germany.
