The route shown here is circular and very varied, featuring forest, green valleys, mountain lakes, and beautiful ridges. Starting from Gourette. Almost the entire ascent follows the red-and-white GR-10 markers, first through a short forest, then ascending the Valle de Valentín, passing the Coste Goua cabins, before climbing a slope that leads to Lac d'Anglas, a paradisiacal spot to pause and have a snack.
