The Pic du Casque du Marboré is one of the summits that make up the Gavarnie cirque. From the village, we see it up on the right.
Although it exceeds the symbolic 3000m bar by only 6 meters, it is not the easiest to climb. Several passages require attention, especially the Pas des Isard. At the summit the view is immense, from Vignemale to the Ordesa canyon...This part of the Gavarnie massif is very mineral, for the eyes' pleasure!
