Description:
We start from Capanna Gnifetti (3647 m), reached the previous day from Gressoney (AO), and at dawn we begin the great ascent passing through Colle del Lys and proceeding alongside the numerous peaks of the Monte Rosa group, until reaching Punta Gnifetti, where Capanna Regina Margherita (4554 m) is located, the historic hut built in 1893 by the CAI. The expedition, led by alpine guide Jacopo Alberti, is part of the 4000m Mountaineering Stage organized by Adventure Dreamers, held from 3 to 7 July 2024.
