Matterhorn - the mountain of mountains. My buddy and I were allowed to climb the 'Horu' independently in 2021 under difficult conditions (still a lot of snow on the route and overnight rain = water ice). We are both experienced mountaineers, but it was very demanding. To climb this mountain requires a lot of experience, enormous fitness and a good sense for route finding. We generally recommend everyone who wants to climb the 'Horu' to entrust themselves to a mountain guide! The mountain has its tricks and must still be approached very seriously today. Proud and grateful to fulfill the dream again after the first personal ascent in 2004.
