Description:
Beautiful winter hike to Forcella Lavaredo (2454m) at the foot of Tre Cime. Start from Lago d'Antorno (Chalet d'Antorno - 1880m) following the carriage road directly to Rifugio Auronzo. Great panoramic views towards Cadini di Misurina, Cristallo group and distant Sorapis. In about two hours (or less) reach Rifugio Auronzo at 2320m. Following trail 101 line, cross horizontally the entire base of the south side of Tre Cime, with extraordinary panoramas towards Cadini di Misurina which, with Valon del Lavaredo, descends directly to the valley, spotting Auronzo di Cadore village.
