Aerial images of the Gartnerkofel, located in Carinthia, Austria near the Nassfeld pass (Nassfeldpass), on the border with Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The hike starts at the pass and in one and a half hours you reach the main summit at 2195 m. In a short time it is also possible to reach the south summit at 2154 m. Fantastic views of Nassfeld, Hermagor and the Gail valley. On the Italian side, Montasio, Canin, Zuc dal Bor, Chiavals, Coglians and the nearby Cavallo di Pontebba/Rosskofel and Creta di Air/Trogkofel are clearly recognisable.
